Mike Delaney is an independent addictions specialist with over 30 years consultancy experience working with individuals, rehabilitation centres and professional bodies in the UK and internationally. A recognised expert in his field, Mike is as comfortable delivering a lecture to 2000 people as he is working one-to-one in a counselling setting, and has a proven track record of success treating both celebrities and the general public.

Mike is one of the leading practitioners of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in the UK. He has achieved international recognition for his development of the Dorabella Model, addressing the treatment of addiction for adults who also have learning disabilities, and is currently developing a specific model that links the treatment of addiction and ADHD.

In recovery himself from addiction to alcohol and drugs since 1996, Mike has had first-hand experience of the devastating effects of addiction on an individual and their loved ones and is passionate about using his vast practical and theoretical expertise to help others to succeed in recovery, whether from alcohol, drugs, depression, sex, co-dependency, food or gambling.
